Sonic Impact Technologies today unveiled the K1 iPod video accessory with "MaxxBass" technology, offering a 7-inch high definition LCD display with audio speakers for video iPod owners.


MaxxBass technology uses a Waves patented psychoacoustic algorithm, allowing users to hear bass far below the physical limitation of the speakers by taking advantage of the latest research in how sound is perceived, according to Sonic Impact.


The K1 is slated for shipment from Apple starting in August for $300.
