13th February 2006 : New Ridge on Ipod Nano Stops Scratching

. ipod nano ridge Powerpage this morning is commenting on a message on the ilounge forum about the new 1GB Ipod Nano. A small ridge is being added to the design to, we assume, reduce the problem of the face scratching.
Though I didn't notice any mention of this new feature at the time of the release of the new 1GB Nano, it makes a lot of sense and apparently, the feature is set to appear on the new model.

No word yet on whether this feature will be found on other iPods, but I would certainly expect all new Nano's in the range - where the problem of scratching has been well documented - to have the ridge on them in the future.

Sometimes, the simplest things make all the difference.
